Just a few more days

Till our first Meeting December 2, 2008
Ames Library 3:30-5p.m.

Its not too late, if you know of a girl who still might be interested, please tell them to come on that day, all we need is a signed note from the parent giving them permission to stay for the meeting.

During the meeting official sign up papers will be given to all the girls.

If you would like to turn in the Dues, you may make a check payable to Ames Daisy troop .

We look forward to seeing all our new Daisies and remember , Official uniforms are not worn until after the february Induction ceremony.

Uniforms until that point consist of a Blue or White Shirt/Any pants, skirt etc.

This website wil be a posting ground for all information regarding our troop. Please feel free to stop by and take a look if you have a question or call one of our leaders.

We also have exciting news, we received a $50 annonymous donation to help our girls get off to the right start on their Daisy adventure!

Thanks

Treasurer Needed-

With so many activities packed into the year we are looking for someone ( mom, Dad, Aunt Uncle ) to handle the fiscal responsibilites of the troop. The treasurer will not be required to attend regular meetings and the work can be done at home. Some of the responsiblites include: handeling troop checkbook, dues, submiting checks for outings/deposits, submitting fees to our local Vista. If you feel you would like to assist the Troop in this manner, please contact Wendy Winkler or Joan Kanatas.

Patrol Lists

During our year as Daisies the girls will work in groups called Patrols. These Patrols will be responsible for various tasks during the meeting : Flag ceremonies, snacks , clean up etc. Please refer to this list to see which patrol your Daisy is in and her responsibilities for the next meeting:
The first meeting that the Patrols will be responsible for meeting events will be December 18th.
These patrols will change at various times through out the year to allow the girls a chance to work with each other.
