Next meeting January 22nd

ITEMS NEEDED FOR THE NEXT MEETING: January 22^nd:

·         The girls will be participating in a small philanthropy project creating custom care packages for the Tabitha House in Chicago. They are a shelter that works with the homeless population specializing with women and children.    We are asking that each girl bring to the next meeting 1 or 2 toiletry items that can be donated.  Please allow your Daisy to take part in choosing the item/s. 

 

UPCOMING MEETING NEWS:

·         February 20^th : 6:30  Investiture Ceremony:

This is the meeting where the girls take their pledge to become Daisies.  Girls who wish to continue in Daisies must wear the Official Daisy uniform.

·         Uniforms consist of:

· White Shirt

· Tan, Khaki Pants, Skirt, Shorts

              * Blue Daisy Tunic-Provided by parents Approx $13: Worn for the 1st time during the Investiture Night meeting Feb 20^th

· Yellow Insignia Tab: Provided by parents Approx: $3

· Daisy pin will be supplied by the chapter

· Daisy Iron On Patch Provided by parents Approx $7 (To be given to troop leaders prior to the investiture meeting and     will be given back to the girls once they earn the appropriate petal)

   Parents will iron on patches as the girls earn them

·         CAMPING:
Our Official Camping date is set to May 30, 2009    4pm- 2pm rain or shine

Trefoil Oaks 3901 First Street Kenosha WI 53144, we are trying to gauge if we can or need to get another bunkhouse.  If you are interested in joining us please RSVP to Wendy.  Keep in mind 1 adult must accompany your Daisy.  More details will follow at a later date.
