So much in so little time!

Today we accomplished so much....

1. Made delicious homemade french fries with Mrs. Meyer.... ( the girls did a great job they were so yummy)
2. Learned all about nutrition and healthy habits from Mrs. Kowel
3. Participated in the own Flag Ceremony with the help of Mrs. Coffey
4. Received the 411 on the current cookie sales with proper phone etiquette techniques and safety tips from yours truly.

Can you saw WOW.

I think we are in need of a little slow down and some fun along the way.

Our next meeting will give us a little of both.
The girls will be participating in a small philanthropy project creating custom care packages for the Tabitha House in Chicago.  They are a shelter that works with the homeless population specializing with women and children.    We are asking that each girl bring to the next meeting 1 or 2 toiletry items that can be donated.  Please allow your Daisy to take part in choosing the item/s.

Our 2nd half of the meeting is focusing on the fun.  Games and songs and activities are just what we are all in the mood for especially since we cant always get outside to play. Parents you wouldn't mind if we tuckered the poor dears out would you?

As always there will be a small snack, a flag ceremony and a Daisy circle.

Hopefully we will be able confirm details of our camping trip.  Tentatively we are looking at the last weekend in May.  It is the weekend after memorial day weekend . We will keep you updated with information as we receive it.
Thank you so much for sharing your girls with us, we hope it is as rewarding for them as it is us.

Yours in scouting
Wendy, Joan, Renata and Kate
